RESTRICTED AREA ACCESS
ISSUE OF AIRPORT ID CARDS AND TEMPOARY RESTRICTED AREA ACCESS PERMITS
The following details the processing requirements for personalized Permanent or Temporary Airport ID Cards:
1. PERMANENT AIRPORT ID CARD
- The requesting company must have a valid contract or agreement with the AICM (except official subsidiary bodies, AICM/ASA)
- Written request addressed to the AICM Deputy Office of Safety or General Commanding Office (DGAC) in the case of an official subsidiary body, signed by any of the 2 persons registered at the Airport Identification Management, indicating the company name, position, and name(s) of person(s) requesting Permanent or Temporary ID Cards.
- Legible copy of both sides of valid official ID, with photograph included, of the interested party.
- Required Personal Information and Employment Record Sheet, stamped and/or signed by the requesting company.
- Legible copy of (recent) pay slip of wages or honorary fees.
- Copy of IMSS registration, with the company's stamp or letterhead (if not covered by IMSS, present a copy of the individual work contract duly signed and sealed by the company).
- Criminal History and Convictions Record Information (Document issued by the Secretary of Public Safety when there is a request for a "Police Clearance Certificate" for each one of the applicants.
- Copy of the CURP (abbreviation in Spanish for: Unique Population Registry Code) and copy of the RFC (abbreviation in Spanish for Federal Taxpayer's Registry).
- Payment of the applicable cost of the Airport ID Card at the time of the Card request.
- Once the payment has been made, present a copy of the invoice and the original receipt.
- Receiver's signature of commitment of proper use and promise to return the card.
1.1 AIRPORT ID CARD FOR SUPPLIERS
- The requesting company must have a valid contract or agreement with the AICM (except official subsidiary bodies, AICM/ASA)
- Lessees of the Shopping Area and Subsidiaries or Companies accredit their suppliers so that they may have access in order to supply products or general services, make orders or collect payments. Lessees will have to renew this authorization every three months in order to validate and update its suppliers. The following must be presented: legible copy of both sides of valid official ID, with photograph included, of the interested party.
- Copy of IMSS, invoice, articles of incorporation or tax ID card.
- Legible copy of (recent) pay slip of wages or honorary fees.
- Copy of the CURP (abbreviation in Spanish for: Unique Population Registry Code) and copy of the RFC (abbreviation in Spanish for Federal Taxpayer's Registry).
- Required personal information and employment record sheet, stamped and/or signed by the company (applicant or supplier).
- Payment of the applicable cost of the Airport ID Card at the time of the Card request.
- Once the payment has been made, present a copy of the invoice and the original receipt.
- Receiver's signature of commitment of proper use and promise to return the card.
2. TEMPORARY PERMIT
- The requesting company must have a valid contract or agreement with the AICM (except official subsidiary bodies, AICM/ASA)
- Written request addressed to the Deputy Office of Safety or General Commanding Office (DGAC) in the case of an official subsidiary body, signed by any of the 2 persons registered at the Airport Identification Management, indicating the company name, position, and name(s) of person(s) requesting provisional permit(s).
- Copy of the CURP (abbreviation in Spanish for: Unique Population Registry Code) and copy of the RFC (abbreviation in Spanish for Federal Taxpayer's Registry).
- Legible copy of both sides of valid official ID, with photograph included, of the interested party.
- Required Personal Information and Employment Record Sheet, stamped and/or signed by the requesting company.
- Payment of the applicable cost of the Airport ID Card at the time of the Card request.
- Once the payment has been made, present a copy of the invoice and the original receipt.
- Receiver's signature of commitment of proper use and promise to return the card.
- Valid official ID must be presented at the Airport Identification Management and it must remain there for the granted time period, to be returned at the time the permit is handed in.
2.2 TEMPORARY PERMIT FOR SOCIAL SERVICE AND/OR PROFFESSIONAL PRACTICES
- The requesting company must have a valid contract or agreement with the AICM (except official subsidiary bodies, AICM/ASA)
- Written request addressed to the Deputy Office of Safety or General Commanding Office (DGAC) in the case of an official subsidiary body, signed by any of the 2 persons registered at the Airport Identification Management, including company name, position, and name(s) of person(s) requesting provisional permit(s).
- Legible copy of both sides of valid official ID, with photograph included, of the interested party.
- Copy of the CURP (abbreviation in Spanish for: Unique Population Registry Code) and copy of the RFC (abbreviation in Spanish for Federal Taxpayer's Registry).
- Letter of acceptance of professional practice or social service from the requesting company or subsidiary.
- Cost coverage if not a member of official subsidiaries/ASA/AICM.
- Required personal information and employment record sheet, stamped and/or signed by the requesting company.
- Once the payment has been made, present a copy of the invoice and the original receipt.
- Receiver's signature of commitment of proper use and promise to return the card.
- Valid official ID must be presented at the Airport Identification Management and it must remain there for the granted time period, to be returned at the time the permit is handed in.
2.3 TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT
- The requesting company must have a valid contract or agreement with the AICM (except official subsidiary bodies, AICM/ASA)
- Required personal information and employment record sheet, stamped by the requesting company.
- Written request addressed to the AICM Deputy Office of Safety, signed by any of the 2 persons registered at the Airport Identification Management, indicating the company name, position, and name(s) of person(s) requesting provisional permit(s). Approval of request must be granted by the Office of the Deputy General Director of Operations for background verification.
- Copy of the CURP (abbreviation in Spanish for: Unique Population Registry Code) and copy of the RFC (abbreviation in Spanish for Federal Taxpayer's Registry).
- Legible copy of both sides of valid official ID, with photograph included, of the interested party.
- Coverage of the cost applied to Temporary Permits on the applicable date.
- Once the payment has been made, present a copy of the invoice and the original receipt.
- Receiver's signature of commitment of proper use and promise to return the card.
- Valid official ID must be presented at the Airport Identification Management and it must remain there for the granted time period, to be returned at the time the permit is handed in.
