VEHICULAR PERMITS FOR RESTRICTED AREAS

(Regulations and Policies for the Issue, Revalidation, Inspection and Replacement of Vehicular Access and Circulation Permits)

ISSUE PROCEDURE REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMITS FOR VEHICULAR ACCESS AND CIRCULATION IN THE AICM AREA OF MOVEMENT

• Formalize and keep in force the contractual relationship with AICM. In accordance with Article 48 of the Airport Law and 66 of its Regulations.
• Prove the existence and validity of civil liability insurance policies and vehicular insurance policies.
• Present the request to the Operations Deputy Director’s Office, specifying: Vehicle information: company, model, vehicle or equipment type, economic number, license plate number and color, and attached document proving vehicle ownership.
• Activity for which the vehicle is destined; justifying the need of access and circulation in the area of movement.
• Cover the vehicular permit issue cost.
• Present vehicle for inspection.

REVALIDATION COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMITS FOR VEHICULAR ACCESS AND CIRCULATION IN THE AICM AREA OF MOVEMENT

• Airline Companies, Service Providers and Official Entities require revalidation of vehicular permits that must cover the following requirements:
• Valid contractual relationship with the AICM.
• Written request on letterhead paper addressed to the head of the Operations Management, with an attached list of all the vehicles that have vehicular permits and their folio number, as well as: type, company, model, license plate no., economic number and use.
• Pay the vehicular permit revalidation cost at the AICM General Cash Desk.
• Present the vehicle for inspection within the defined time.

REPLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMITS FOR VEHICULAR ACCESS AND CIRCULATION IN THE AICM AREA OF MOVEMENT

• Present the written request to the Operations Management.
• Deliver a copy of the district attorney’s statement proving that the permit was stolen or damaged.
• Pay at the AICM General Cash Desk.
• Present vehicle for inspection.
