Auxiliary to the Assistant Regional Migration office at the airport in the revision of migratory and consular documents issued by our diplomatic and consular representatives abroad to foreign nationals who wish to enter Mexico.

Mission
To collaborate with the Regional Assistant Migration Office and the Mexican diplomatic and consular representatives outside of Mexico for the appropriate entry of foreign nationals, and to provide elements to the General Office for Protection and Consular Affairs of the SRE, in order to improve the issue of consular and migratory documents.
Function
To support the Regional Assistant Migration Office at the airport, in the revision of migration and consular documents issued by our diplomatic and consular representatives abroad in favor of the foreign nationals who wish to enter Mexico to carry out one of the activities approved by the General Population Law.
Recommendations
Mexican passengers:
- When entering national territory Mexicans must prove their nationality by presenting any of the following documents: passport, birth certificate, military card, consular registration card or Mexican nationality certificate. Those are Mexicans who a) were born in Mexico, whatever the nationality of their parents, b) were born outside of Mexico to a Mexican father and/or mother, and c) those who obtained another nationality after March 20th 1998 or those who obtained a certificate of Mexican nationality.
Foreign passengers::
- Check whether you need a consular visa to enter Mexico and whether the procedure is carried out in the Mexican embassy or consulate, keep the granted migratory form with your visa, as you will have to present the two documents to the Mexican migration authorities.
