Mexican Customs at the airport

Function

The General Customs Administration is the authority in charge of monitoring, controlling and auditing the entry and departure of goods, as well as of means that are used to transport them.  When you arrive to the airport, you are required to declare at Customs if you have goods other than your baggage, money, animals and medicine.  For questions, or if you have goods subject to taxes, permits or other non-tariff regulations or restrictions, we recommend you visit the Customs Information Module at the arrival terminal before going through the inspection area. This service is free and confidential.  If you need more information on importing goods, check the website.
